5/31/2010, Shenzhen, Gigalight, a leading integrated active and passive component manufacture, today announced that their self-developed 10G ROSA and TOSA products pass Telcordia Bellcore reliability test from BestJ organization in Shenzhen. The test includes mechanical shock, vibration, temperature change, ESD etc. All test results point out that Gigalight's OSA products have good mechanical integrality and uniformity, fully meet requirements of Bellcore GR-468-CORE.
Besides OSA, Gigalight's SFP+ and XFP 10G transceivers also passed the Bellcore reliability test, which shows Gigalight's 10G series product packaging technology has been mature enough.
According to Gigalight, since they began to assemble OSA products in year 2006, through continuous innovation and experience accumulation, they have had a vertical manufacturing ability from chip to TO, to transceiver, which helps them to gain high advantage on cost control.
