The National Institute of Telecommunications – Inatel and the startup Trivale Tecnologia announce a partnership for the development and commercialization of a private 5G cellular mobile communication solution in the 700 MHz frequency band.
The project has the support of EMBRAPII and Sebrae. During the development over three years, the project also had the support of the National Education and Research Network (RNP) and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI).
According to Inatel and Trivale, the solution is capable of creating a low-cost private mobile network, making it possible to enable applications in locations where there is no signal from conventional operators or in customers who want to create their own network.
Inatel and Trivale stated that the product is ready to be launched in early 2025. Trivale will be responsible for the commercialization of the solution, and will focus its application in environments where automation and security are essential.
The choice for 5G technology is justified by a number of advantages, including higher transmission rate, lower latency, greater reliability and with the use of a private dedicated network, companies can have more autonomy for their operations.
